FAQ's

Students must have attained grade A-C in three (3) UK GCSE O-level in non over lapping subjects and must have attained a pass in three (3) UK GCE A-level subjects.

Students who have completed a two (2) year undergraduate degree such as Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) can also directly apply in UOL LLB Programme.

The LLB (Hons) is typically a three (3) year degree programme.

Ans: Overlapping subjects mean that the same subject cannot be used twice for admission purposes. For example, if you have completed the subject, Urdu in your O level and again in A-level, the subject will be counted once for admission purposes.

Students must have achieved a minimum of Grade C in the UK GCSE O-level English Language subject OR he student must have completed IELTS examination (General or Academic) with an overall band of 6 and a minimum of 5.5 in each sub test such as Reading, Writing, Speaking & Listening.

If you have completed any other English Language Proficiency Test such as Pearson or TOEFL, kindly submit your test results to the Admission Committee and they will advise you accordingly.

Students who have completed a four (4) year undergraduate degree and wish to apply for the UOL LLB (Hons) Programme can apply through the Graduate Entry Route (2 years) or Standard Entry Route (3 years). The Graduate Entry Route allows our students with existing four (4) year undergraduate degree to complete the LLB Programme in two (2) years and are required to complete nine (9) instead of twelve (12) modules in order to complete the LLB qualification.

For our graduate entry students, Themis School of Law has designed a flexible timetable which allows working individuals to attend classes after work hours. Some of our modules are specifically catered for Graduate Entry students to ensure they have likeminded and mature peers in their classes allowing intellectually stimulating and constructive discussions to take place.

Yes, you can apply to LLB of University of London through CertHE Programme of the University of London offered at Themis School of Law. CertHE is one-year programme and students study the same LLB modules and appear for the same four exams at the end of the one-year course. It is for those students who are coming from non-traditional backgrounds such as Intermediate and/or those who unable to fulfil the prescribed academic requirements of UoL (such as minimum three A-levels etc.). It is important to highlight that the CertHE cannot be studied without enrolling in the recognized institution of UoL which is authorized to offer this course.

Students applying for the CertHE at Themis School of Law must pass a UOL Admission Test as part of their Admission Application. Only students who have passed the Admission Test, will move forward to next stage of the Admission Application.

After successful completion of CertHE, the student has a choice to take a transfer into 2nd year of LLB (Hons) and complete his LLB (Hons) degree and graduate with the LLB students in the same duration.

Upon completion of the three year UOL LLB Programme, you will receive your degree from the University of London and your degree certificate will bear the crest of University of London along with the signature of the Vice Chancellor of the University of London. The degree achieved will hold the same value as the degree of an individual who has completed the LLB (Hons) Programme of the University of London in the United Kingdom.

You can start your admission application by completing the Themis School of Law Online Application Form which is available at http://themisadmissions.com/.

Once your application has been submitted, you will be required to submit your documents to Themis School of Law after which candidates are shortlisted for the Admission Interview with the Academic Committee. Once you successfully pass the interview with the Academic Committee, you will be made an offer to study the LLB Hons Programme/CertHe Programme* at Themis School of Law.

*All CertHE students must pass a UOL Admission Test as part of their Admission Application. Only students who have passed the Admission Test, will move forward to next stage of the Admission Application.

We understand that with the current global health crisis, CAIE exams have been cancelled for the May/June 2020 Session. However, A-level students must apply with their existing qualifications such as their O-Level & AS-level grades. Once they have received the grades from CAIE in August 2020 based on CAIE’s own assessment mechanism, the student can submit the grades to the Admission Office.

We understand that with the current global health crisis, Intermediate exams have been postponed. However, Intermediate students must apply with their existing qualifications such as their Matriculation & First Year results. Once the final Intermediate result is released, the student can submit the same to the Admission Office.

Themis School of Law offers academic session commence from September.

Yes. The LLB (Hons) Programme of the University of London is a globally recognized qualification and is also recognized in Pakistan by the Pakistan Bar Council allowing law graduates to practice law as an advocate in Pakistan and abroad.

Students, upon receiving their degree must fulfill the requirements of the Bar Council prior to being enrolled in the subordinate courts.

Yes, once you have successfully completed the UOL LLB Hons degree within the required time period and have completed the compulsory modules along with achieving a minimum 2:2 degree classification, you will be able to apply for the Bar at Law course in the United Kingdom for which you will receive exclusive guidance from Themis School of Law Career Services Centre.

The UOL LLB (Hons) degree is a globally recognized qualification which allows our graduates to practice worldwide provided they have fulfilled Bar requirements of the relevant jurisdictions. The graduates of UOL are practicing in Pakistan, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, GCC region etc.

Yes, Themis School of Law offers a range of scholarships for our students. These scholarships are based on academic accomplishments or financial hardships faced by a particular student. The criteria for both the scholarships is available on themis.com.pk/Scholarship.
